SERENGETI & ZANZIBAR 

ITINERARY  

DAY 1: Pick up at JRO, then transfer to Arusha. Overnight at River Tree Lodge.

DAY 2: A School visit (LUWAINI ENGLISH MEDIUM SCHOOL), Cultural Heritage Center “Arusha Guggenheim” and “Jane Goodall Center ", Overnight at Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge.

DAY 3: Early Morning departure from Coffee Lodge for a full day game viewing in the Ngorongoro Crater. Back to the Lodge in the evening for dinner and Overnight at Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge.

DAY 4: Departure from the lodge very early to Lake Eyasi to hunt with the Hadzabe and visit the Datoga blacksmiths. Lunch at 2:00 pm. In the evening, we will do either a coffee tour or visit the Iraq tribe. Overnight at Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge.

DAY 5: Drive to Central Serengeti. Departure after breakfast to the Serengeti via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We will have a three-hour drive from the Lodge near Karatu to the Olduvai Area, where we will visit a Maasai Village. Lunch at Serengeti National Park Gate, then game drive en route to the camp in the middle of Serengeti. Overnight at Embalakai Tented Camp.
DAY 6: Full day game viewing in Central Serengeti, back to the Camp late evening for dinner, and overnight at Embalakai Tented Camp.
DAY 7: Three-hour Game viewing drive from Central Serengeti to Kogatende in the Northern West of the Serengeti National Park. We can do game drives near the Mara River for the Wildebeest crossing. Lunch at the airstrip or in the car while waiting for the crossing. Overnight at Katikati tented camp (North Western Serengeti National Park).
DAY 8: Full Day game viewing in Northern Serengeti, Mara River Area. We will continue doing game drives near the Mara River for the Wildebeest crossing. Overnight at Katikati Tented Camp (North Western Serengeti National Park).
DAY 9: Morning game viewing, later transfer to the airport for the flight to Zanzibar OR back to the USA.
Flight from Kogatende to Arusha or Kilimanjaro; transfer, Departure for Zanzibar.
Dinner and Overnight at Spice Island Hotel – All inclusive. 
DAY 10: ZANZIBAR Full Day with some activities. Visit Spice Farm and Old Town; Pool and beach at the hotel. Dinner and overnight at Spice Island Hotel – All inclusive. 
DAY 11: ZANZIBAR Full Day with no activities included.Relax at the hotel and beach, or arrange your own excursion, such as scuba diving. Dinner and overnight at Spice Island Hotel – All inclusive. 
DAY 12: Transfer to Karume Airport, Zanzibar (ZNZ). Today, you have the morning at leisure and later transfer to Karume Airport, Zanzibar (ZNZ), for the onward flight back home
