Jambo!
Break out and join us on a Tanzania safari and Zanzibar Spice Island adventure!
An article you would enjoy!
I came across a delightful article in GoNomad that has specific relevance to the 50+ audience. I Took My Mother-in-law on Safari in Tanzania cracked me up! If an octogenarian can do a Tanzania safari, all of us can and should.
Few more plush vacant safari seats
That said, I still have space for 3 or 4 people for our planned safari in Tanzania and the Zanzibar extension (August 1 – 12). So, please spread the word or join us, and yes, you may bring your mother-in-law.
We have two safari vehicles with plush seating providing a window view for all – and we can raise the canopy when we want an excellent view of the wildlife, smell the fresh Serengeti air, or feel the wind in our hair. Gideon and Jeremiah of HM Safaris are waiting to lead us.
Fly into Kilimanjaro
Flying into the Kilimanjaro airport is already a thrill. Into the heart of Africa. Our first hotels are rustic African-style rondavels, but we will also experience luxury tents, and I mean luxury! Bed and bathroom en-suite! One enters a different, bustling world – people dressed in traditional attire, colorful garments, or long white robes.
The adventure ahead
But then, the adventure starts. A safari, from one National Park to the other, each with its special attraction – like African buffalo found in the Ngorongoro Crater, and the thousands of wildebeest and zebra found at the Mara River.
There is nothing like the silent nights filled with stars in the African bush. You crawl into bed and may hear the odd jackal howl, a zebra bark, or something lurking around your tent. At least, you are sure that you are being looked after, and there is a whistle on your nightstand, just in case you need it.
