Music with Elsa: Private Piano Studio on Daniel Island 

An accomplished music educator for 30 years in South Africa and Ashley Hall Girls School in Charleston, SC, Elsa is now tutoring private piano students of all ages on Daniel Island. She provides individual tutoring in all levels of piano, from beginner to advanced and for accredited certifications.

Her students always perform very well on Achievement Day and in the Royal Conservatory (RCM) examinations, many achieving First Class Distinctions and First Class Honors.

Lessons taught:

In Person at Elsa’s home (all ages)

NOTE: Students pay extra for materials and additional lessons preparing for Achievement Day and RCM examinations.

She is offering the following:

    1. Piano lessons (Individual in-person) 
      1. 30-minute lesson: $35 ($30 Siblings) $40 Adults
      2. 40-minutes lesson: $45 ($40 for Siblings) $50 Adults
      3. 60-minutes lesson: $70 ($60 for Siblings) $80 Adults
      4. Theory of Music: Fees available upon request

NOTE: My beginner piano students do not need to enroll for this course since theory is included in the piano lessons. For the higher levels, additional theory lessons may be needed.

Keeping Health in mind, during In-person classes:

            Piano and other surfaces will be sanitized during lessons.

    About Elsa Dixon

    • History

      Having been raised in a house where my father was a songwriter and performer, music has always been part of my life.

      I started formal piano lessons at the age of five and yearly enrolled for eisteddfods and music examinations.

      I graduated with two licentiates in piano teaching, one through the University of South Africa and one through the College of Music, London.
