Y our tour of cosmopolitan Cape capeTown starts from a delightful Guesthouse nestled against the slopes of Table Mountain, with a panoramic view of the city and distant mountains on the horizon. In winter, a warm fire in the hearth and a welcoming sherry will greet you, while in summer, the open windows and doors will lure you to breathe in the fresh sea air and relax around the pool.

On a tour of the city, you will marvel at the
brightly colored houses of the traditional Cape Malay community at Bo Kaap, the City Hall, Castle and St Georges Cathedral. Your tour will take you past winelands to the delightful African penguin sanctuary, then on to Cape Point, the second most southern point of Africa, and along the breathtaking curves of Chapman’s Peak Drive.

You will delight in the world-renowned Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, and sample the excellent wines on the Western Cape wine route.

Day 1:

  • Explore Cape Town city center (Company Gardens, St Georges Cathedral, Malay
  • Quarter, Bo-Kaap, Greenmarket Square, The Castle).
  • Stop at Signal Hill, overlooking the harbor.
  • Dinner at Camps Bay

Day 2:

  • Take revolving cable car to top of Table Mountain for a spectacular 180 degree view
  • of Cape Town.
  • From Victoria and Albert Waterfront (V&A Cape Town Harbor), take ferry ride to
  • Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 27 years.
  • Tour of cosmopolitan seafront suburbs of Green Point, Sea Point, Clifton, Bakoven
  • and Camps Bay.

Day 3:

  • Follow False Bay coast (Muizenberg, Simon’s Town, Fish Hoek) to Jackass penguin
  • colony at Boulder’s beach.
  • Visit Cape Point and ride the funicular to the top for an excellent view of where the warm and cold streams of the Atlantic and Indian oceans come together).
  • Dinner at Hout Bay.

Day 4

  • Tour of winelands and estates of the Cape, wine tasting, lunch and also cheese tasting (Paarl, Stellenbosch, Franschoek {home of French Huguenots}).
  • Day 5
  • Visit world-renowned Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.
  • Shop, explore Canal Walk Shopping Center, the largest in the Southern Hemisphere.
  • Drive to Blaauwbergstrand for a spectacular view of Table Mountain and the Bay.
  • Have dinner (this one is included in the price) at internationally acclaimed Gold
  • Restaurant.
  • Pre-dinner interactive drumming sessions, live puppet theatre, lively African music,
  • dance and song, and Cape Malay and African Taste favourite dishes.
